Device Certificate Install Notice

These certificates allow your device to accept and trust web-traffic that has undergone inspection and monitoring from Whickham School’s web-proxy.
Without this installation your web traffic WILL still be monitored but may not display properly without error.Please note by installing the certificate files your again agree to all terms and conditions previously accepted and understand that Whickham School IT hold no responsibility for your device. The owner of the device is responsible for the installation and removal of these certificates

iOS Installation Instructions

#Please use Safari for this installation#

1. Please click this link to download the proxy certificate

2. You will them be prompted to install a profile with a label similar to Fireware HTTPS Proxy, please click “install” to make it trusted.
3. On the next screen you will be informed that this is an unverified profile. Please again click “install” in the top right to continue the installation.

4. If you have a personal passcode set on your device, you will be asked to enter it to complete the installation.

5. The next screen now shows the certificate as trusted, indicating the installation is successful. Please Click “Done” in the top right to complete the process.
